AMU mourns Prof Saeeduz Zafar’s demise

 

Aligarh: Professor Saeeduz Zafar, a renowned faculty member and former chairman of the Department of Psychology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) passed away after a brief illness.

Extending condolences, the Vice Chancellor, Prof Tariq Mansoor said that by serving in a variety of capacities, Prof Zafar developed standards for excellence in instruction and contributed to the university’s growth and development. He also served as the Chairperson, Department of Psychology and was active in various social activities in the campus.

“His demise is a personal loss for me”, he added. The AMU community mourns the sad demise of Prof Saeed uz Zafar.

Prof Saeedu Zafar was a keen Chess player and Secretary of the Chess Club of AMU Staff Club for many years.
