AMU mourns sad demise of Professor Habibur Rahman

Aligarh: Aligarh Muslim University Vice Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor has expressed a deep sense of grief on the sad demise of Professor Habibur Rahman, former Honorary Treasurer of the University. Professor Rahman breathed his last in Aligarh today morning.

Professor Mansoor prayed for Jannah for the deceased and solace to the bereaved family. He said that Professor Rahman’s demise has created a vacuum which will be hard to be filled. He will always be remembered for his services to the University which he rendered in various capacities over a long period of time.

Professor Rahman served as Member of the Executive Council of the University, Dean, Faculty of Commerce and founding Provost of Allama Iqbal Hall before serving as the Vice Chancellor of Agra University. He was elected Honorary Treasure of AMU in 2015.
