AMU Murshidabad Centre holds workshop on Personality Development

ALIGARH : The Training and Placement Office, Aligarh Muslim University Murshidabad Centre, West Bengal, in association with the Training and Placement Office (General), conducted a Workshop on “Dynamics of Job Market and Personality Development” in hybrid mode to provide students of MBA with essential aspects of becoming industry-ready.

In his inaugural address, the Director of the centre, Dr. Nigamananda Biswas stressed the need for organizing such programmes to help students prepare for their future career.

The keynote speaker, Mr. Saad Hameed, TPO (General) highlighted the importance of understanding the ever-evolving needs of job market.

The resource person, Mr. Fainan Ahmed Khwaja, Vice President (Operations), Cambay, focused on “Corporate expectations and LinkedIn optimization.” He imparted key points regarding the effective use of LinkedIn platform, and discussed the essential ingredients of an impressive CV and job interviews from employer’s perspective.

Earlier, welcoming the guests and participants, Dr. Mohd Sarwar Alam, TPO, AMU Murshidabad Centre, discussed the main features of the workshop.

Dr. Syed Atif Jilani, Unit Coordinator (MBA), talked about the expected outcomes of the workshop, while Dr. Suhalia Parveen, Assistant TPO, AMU, discussed the rubrics of job interview. She explained the technicalities of interpersonal skills required for the job interviews.

Mr. Ali Asa extended a vote of thanks. Mr. Mohd Sameer conducted the programme.
