AMU observes Swachhta Pakhwada

 

Aligarh: To espouse cleanliness in daily life, the Ross Masood Hall, Aligarh Muslim University organized a Swachhta Pakhwada (Cleanliness Fortnight) programme. Various hostels and offices of RM Hall were thoroughly cleaned during the drive.

Addressing the students during the drive, Prof Mujib Ahmad Ansari, Provost, urged them to keep their surroundings clean as a healthy mind lives in a healthy body and a healthy body is ensured by the nature in a healthy and clean environment.

Meanwhile, cleanliness and plantation drive was also conducted by the University Health Office under the Swachhta Pakhwada programme. University Health Office, Dr Ali Jafar Abedi, informed that several such campaigns will be undertaken in the University campus. A number of senior teachers and university officials participated in the plantation drive.
