AMU organized Webinar on Civil Services

Aligarh: With a view to motivating the students and to provide them with the best career opportunities the Department of Computer Science, AMU, organized a webinar titled “You too can become an IAS officer” in association with Shankar IAS academy. A large number of students participated in this webinar.

Prof Rafiqul Zaman Khan, chairperson of Department of Computer Science welcomed Mr Sakthya Krishnan (IAS, 2014 batch) the main speaker of the webinar, Mr Krishnan explained the UPSC examination pattern in detail such as prelims, mains and interview process. He also discussed in-depth methodology to be followed to qualify each phase of UPSC examination. After the discussion, Mr Krishnan answered the queries of students as well.

Prof Rafiqul Zaman Khan, while presenting vote of thanks, encouraged students to prepare and qualify UPSC examination and emphasized that apart from campus placement and higher studies at abroad, the department will also create opportunities for the students to join Civil Services.
