AMU professor gets prestigious fellowship

ALIGARH  : Prof. Malik M Azharuddin, Department of Cardiology, J.N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, has been honoured with the prestigious Fellowship of the Asian Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology (APSIC). This honour was bestowed upon him by Dr Ashok Seth, President, APSIC at its conference held in Singapore recently, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of interventional cardiology.

The Asian Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology (APSIC) is a renowned organization dedicated to advancing the practice and science of interventional cardiology in the Asia-Pacific region, and its fellowship is an esteemed recognition for individuals who demonstrate exceptional expertise and innovation in the field of interventional cardiology.

Prof. Malik M Azharuddin, as an Interventional Cardiologist, has consistently demonstrated commitment to elevating the standards of cardiovascular care through pioneering research, patient-centred care, and academic leadership.

Dr. Asif Hasan, Chairman of the department, congratulated Prof. Azharuddin on this achievement, adding that it has brought laurels to the department and to the university.
