AMU Professor gets Prof. Abraham Thomas Visiting Professorship in Microsurgery
ALIGARH : Prof Imran Ahmad, Department of Plastic Surgery, JN Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University has been nominated for the prestigious Prof. Abraham Thomas Visiting Professorship in Microsurgery in the general body meeting of Association of Plastic Surgeons of India held at Coimbatore.
Under the Prof. Abraham Thomas Visiting Professorship, Prof Imran will impart the clinical expertise in microsurgery to the colleagues and students seeking microsurgery training in the department of plastic surgery at Vardhman Medical College, New Delhi and King George Medical College, Lucknow.
He has undergone special training in hand and reconstructive microsurgery in 2002 at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore and started microsurgery in J.N. Medical College in 2002.
At present he is a life member to the APSI, Reconstructive Microsurgery, National Society for Wound Care and Research and National Academy of Burns.
