AMU Professor in Highly Cited Researchers for third time

Aligarh : USA based agency, Clarivate Analytics- powered by Web of Science has included Prof Nafees Ahmad Khan, Department of Botany, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in the list of Highly Cited Researchers (HCR) 2021.

Prof Nafees, who has been mentioned in the list for the third time in a row, has immensely contributed to the field of abiotic tolerance mechanisms vis-à-vis a positive shift in the source-sink relationship and photosynthetic capacity of plants resulting from judicious amendments of gaseous signaling molecules.

His transmuting work in “signal transduction by gaseous—signaling molecules modulates plant physiological and metabolic processes under primary nutrient elements enrichment that provide essential constituents to improve the photosynthetic potential of crop plants” has left an indelible mark in the world of science.

Prof Nafees credits the intellectual diversity at AMU for his success.
