AMU professor to speak on Meer at Jashn-e-Rekhta on December 10
ALIGARH : Noted bi-lingual scholar, a recipient of Sahitya Academy Award and a senior professor at the Department of Mass Communication, Aligarh Muslim University, Prof Shafey Kidwai will speak on the poetics of popular Urdu poet, Meer, at Jashn-e-Rekhta, celebrating 300 years of Meer Taqi Meer.
Prof Kidwai will deliver a lecture, “Meer Darya Hai”, at the Bazm-e-Khayal Stage, Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, New Delhi on December 10 at 2 pm.
Entry to the programme is through a pass.
