AMU Ranked #4 by India Today Best Universities Survey 2022*

Aligarh : AMU has been ranked #4 in the India Today-MDRA Best Universities Survey 2022. The methodology followed in the Survey is quite rigorous and the universities have been objectively ranked on 120+ attributes. With more than 1000 universities in the country, the India Today Group’s annual ranking of Best universities has a special place in the country’s academic calendar.

AMU has also been ranked #1 in the country for offering the highest number of PG Courses. With 15 patents granted during the past three years AMU has been ranked # 2 and with 36 ‘patents filed’ it has been ranked # 3 in the category among the Government Universities in the country.

“AMU has been consistently ranked among the top institutions in the country and India Today-MDRA Best Universities Survey 2022 has again demonstrated that its faculty members, students, non-teaching staff, and alumni have been collectively working towards raising its academic and research standards”, said AMU Vice-Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor while congratulating all the stake holders.

“The results are a testimony to the hard work put in by the members of the Committee for Ranking of the University” said Prof M Salim Beg, Chairman, AMU Ranking Committee. He also congratulated the AMU fraternity said that it is a matter of pride that AMU stands out as #1 university for offering the highest number of PG courses apart from doing exceptionally well vis-a-vis filing and granting of patents.
