AMU reschedules office timings for Ramadan

Aligarh: Office timings of all Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) academic and non- academic departments, including central offices and off-campus centres have been re-scheduled for the month of Ramadan.

According to the notification issued by the Office of the Registrar, the timings for all offices on working days will be 8 am to 2:30 pm without any break—while on Fridays, offices and departments will work from 8 am to 12 noon. The timings will come into effect as soon as the Holy month of Ramadan commences.

The university siren will sound daily at the ‘Iftaar ‘time and 20 minutes before the closing time of ‘Sahar’.
