AMU research scholar presents paper

 

ALIGARH  : Mohammad Waseem, a research scholar in the Department of West Asian and North African Studies, Aligarh Muslim University presented a paper at the 2nd International Conference on “Institutions and The Knowledge Economy Integration”, organized by the Faculty of Economics, Business and Management, University of Mascara, Algeria.

Mohammad Waseem spoke on the “Role of GIG Workers in the Knowledge-Based Economy in the GCC Countries” highlighting the vital contribution of GIG workers in the knowledge-based economy, specifically within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations.

In another paper presentation, Mohammad Waseem spoke on “Does Knowledge economy accelerate the gig economy in the GCC Countries” at a conference held on “The GIG Economy and Platform Workers in the Middle East” at the University of Liverpool, England.

He shed light on the crucial role played by GIG workers in the knowledge-based economy, particularly in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

Mohammad Waseem is doing research under the supervision of Prof. Mohammad Azher.
