AMU researcher selected for postdoctoral position

ALIGARH  : Dr. Shabnam Khan, who has recently completed her tenure as a Research Associate (CSIR-RA), under the mentorship of Dr. M Shahid at the Department of Chemistry, Aligarh Muslim University, has been awarded the prestigious Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Hydrogen and Energy Storage (IRCHES), King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals, KSA. She will be working on utilization of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for carbon dioxide capture and sequestration, which is a burning topic in contemporary research these days.

She has worked in the field of MOF for environmental applications and has published more than 20 research papers and 6 book chapters. She also has one International patent to her credit.
