Aligarh: The Covid-enforced shrinkage of post-doc positions in the international academia couldn’t hamper the career of Mantasha Idrisi, Research Scholar, Department of Chemistry, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).
She has received an offer letter for a Postdoctoral Fellowship to work with the Colby’s Group at the University of Mississippi, USA.
“I hope you will join Prof David Colby’s research group in the Department of BioMolecular Sciences in the School of Pharmacy at the University as a Postdoctoral Research Associate working on research studies in medical chemistry,” wrote Prof Kristine Willet (Chair, Department of BioMolecular Sciences, University of Mississippi) in an official email to Mantasha.
Mantasha has also been selected in the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meet scheduled to take place in the months of June and July in Germany. She has done her Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr M Shahid in AMU.
