AMU Resident Doctor wins third prize at UP Dental Show
ALIGARH : Dr. Shazia Nahid, a first-year Resident in the Department of Periodontia and Community Dentistry at Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College, Aligarh Muslim University won the third prize in paper presentation at the 6th UP Dental Show and Conference held at Indira Gandhi Pratisthan, Gomtinagar, Lucknow, which was organized under the aegis of the Indian Dental Association.
Dr. Nahid’s paper, titled “Knowledge, Attitude And Practice of Healthcare Professionals regarding Protocols to be Followed in Cancer Patients Requiring Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy,” aimed at examining knowledge, attitudes, and practices of healthcare practitioners regarding oral healthcare in cancer patients, the lack of which can be an obstacle to high-quality care to cancer patients.
Dr Naheed’s guide and Chairperson of the Department, Prof. Neha Agrawal, and co-guides, Dr Pramod Yadav and Dr Syed Amaan Ali complimented her on winning a prize.
