AMU Scholars bag Insight Award for Research Paper
Aligarh : A joint- research paper titled, “Travel intention during Coronavirus: An extension of the theory of planned behavior by adding perceived risk”, presented by Mr. Sujood and Ms. Naseem Bano (Research Scholars of tourism in the Department of Commerce, AMU) was conferred with the ICHT-2021 Insight Award at an International Conference on Hospitality and Tourism (ICHT), held at JL University, Bhopal.
The theme of the conference was The New Normal of Hospitality and Tourism: Post-Pandemic Trends, Issues and Opportunities, organized by the School of Hospitality and Tourism, Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal.
The paper was virtually presented and delegates across the globe attended the conference. The session coordinator, Dr. Anant Kumar Verma, Assistant Professor, JLU, Bhopal, appreciated the paper and said,“He came across one of the most interesting topics of the conference”. Dr. B.Padmapriya, Professor, JLU, Bhopal, who was the session chair, also liked the concept of the paper as this paper measures the traveling intention of the travelers during the coronavirus.
Prof Sheeba Hameed, the supervisor of the research scholars has informed that after rigorous assessment of papers submitted and presented, the jury has conferred this ICHT-2021 Insight Award.
