AMU school student wins Bronze in Arm Wrestling

Aligarh : Mahvish, a class IX student of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) City Girls’ High School-Qazipara forced hands of opponents down to table top in thrilling bouts to win the bronze medal in recently held state level Arm Wrestling contest at IIMT College, Aligarh.

Dr Md Alamgir (Principal, AMU City Girls’ High School) congratulated her and said: “We hope Mahvish will bring more accolades to the school and the university with excellence in sports and studies”.

Earlier in the month, Mahvish also won a Silver Medal at a district level Arm Wrestling competition at Ahilyabai Holkar Stadium in Aligarh.
