Aligarh : Prof. B. P. Singh, Department of Physics, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) delivered an invited talk in the two-day DAE-BRNS symposium on “Nuclear Reaction and Structure up to Intermediate Energy Collision (NRSIC-23)” organised at the Variable energy Cyclotron Centre (VECC), Kolkata, a leading research institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.

Speaking on “Heavy-Ion Reaction Studies from Low Energies to Fermi Energy Regime”, Prof Singh discussed in detail the recent trends and future prospects of nuclear reaction studies relevant to the energy domain of VECC Room Temperature as well as Superconducting cyclotron. “The superconducting cyclotron will provide beams with energy around 35-40 MeV per nucleon, for the first time in India”, he said.
