AMU student appointed as young scientist in central groundwater board

ALIGARH: Research and postgraduate studernts of the Department of Geology, Aligarh Muslim University have always upheld the university flag high by succeeding in various competitive examinations in the field of Geology. Keeping with the success trail, a research scholar in the department, Dr Shamshad Ahmad has been appointed as Young Scientist in the Central Groundwater Board, Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India.

Profesor Kunwar Farahim Khan (Chairman, Department of Geology) congratulated Dr Shamshad on his success and said his selection is a testimony of his hard work and able guidance from the faculty members.
