AMU Student Felicitated at CSR Changemakers Summit & Awards

 

Aligarh : Ms. Sabeera Haris, a Class XI student of Aligarh Muslim University’s Senior Secondary School (Girls), has been felicitated with CSR Changemakers Award at the 1st Healthcare CSR Changemakers Summit & Awards 2024. The event was organized by the Heal Foundation at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

Ms. Haris received the award from Mr. Harsh Malhotra, Minister of State in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, who was the Chief Guest at the event.

Ms. Haris has made notable achievements in shooting. She won a bronze medal in Women’s Trap at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Junior World Cup in Italy and participated in multiple international shooting championships.

Her recent success includes securing first place in the shotgun selection trials for the upcoming ISSF Junior World Championship 2024 in Lima, Peru.

Ms. Haris said that she aspires to win a gold medal for India at the 2028 Olympics, showcasing her dedication to both her sport and the nation.
