Aligarh: Mohammad Al-Shayef, a research scholar in the department of Geology, Aligarh Muslim University has been appointed as “National Point of Contact for Yemen” by the Executive Council of the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), in support of the United Nations’ Programme on Space Applications. Al-Shayef will work in this capacity until May 2022,

SGAC is a non-governmental organization which represents students and young professionals in United Nations.
