AMU student to join ICL, UK

Aligarh: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Industrial Chemistry student, Hamza Hasan has been offered MSc Environmental Engineering leading to a PhD, at the prestigious Imperial College London (ICL), UK.

He has chosen to study at the ICL from among other study options such as the Kings College London (KCL), UK and five other top UK universities.

 

“I was able to put my foot down at the ICL after the required mentoring by teachers at AMU, who closely understood my particular interests, needs, and aspirations”, said Hamza.

 

He added: “My teachers and family urged me to join ICL as it is recently ranked seventh best in the world by QS World University Rankings. The college is also ranked first in London and third in UK and Europe by QS”.

 

“As an environmental sciences expert, I intend to use my specialised background to design and carry out solutions to everyday problems that maintain – or increase – productivity while simultaneously protecting the natural world. I wish to be at the forefront to find solutions for a better environment”, said Hamza.
