AMU student wins election for UNA-USA Co-Chair
Aligarh : Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) student, Naved Alam has been elected as the Co-Chair for the ‘Youth Affinity Group of the United Nations Association of the United States of America’ (UNA-USA) after winning the election that took place from December 12 to 16.
In this role, Naved will convene and advance important and timely issues of human rights, Sustainable Development Goals, and gender equality among others.
He is also a Pretesting Research Partner and member of the Oxford University Press and an outgoing AMU Students Union Cabinet Member.
Naved is a post-graduate of English Language Teaching and is now pursuing Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication at AMU.
