AMU Students Receive Laptops
Aligarh : 284 students of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) received laptops and smartphones in a special ceremony held today at the Dean Students’ Welfare (DSW) Office, AMU.
Mr. Sudhir Kumar, Additional City Magistrate II and Prof Abdul Alim (DSW, AMU) distributed laptops to the students of PhD, B.Tech, MA, BE etc. under the tablet and smartphone distribution scheme of the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, for the digital empowerment of youth studying in the state.
Prof Abdul Alim said, around 3000 laptops have been distributed so far among the AMU students since 2021.
Prof Vibha Sharma, Prof M. Shahul Hameed Deputy DSW, Dr. Abdus Samad, Nodal Officer; Dr. Saba Zaidi, Dr. Jahangir Chauhan; Dr. Mohd. Shakir, Dr. Javed Alam Assistant DSW and Dr. Ali Imran Usmani were also present on the occasion.
