AMU Students selected as Assistant Hydrogeologists

Aligarh: Five students of the Department of Geology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) have been selected as Assistant Hydrogeologists, the Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation after qualifying the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam.

They are M Shadman (AIR 14), M Arshad (AIR 16), Saddam Husain (AIR 18), Abdurrahman (AIR 36) and Irfan Ali (AIR 41).

Sheer hard work and guidance offered by faculty members helped the students to qualify, said Prof AHM Ahmad, Chairman, Department of Geology.
