AMU students shine in the Quiz competition

ALIGARH : A team of two students of the Department of Geology, Aligarh Muslim University, comprising Aamina Saghir and Farrukh Hasan won the second runner-up position in the Geosciences Quiz Competition, ‘GeoIndia 2024’ held on the theme, ‘Exploring New Dimensions of Energy Dynamics’, organized by the Association of Petroleum Geologists (India).

The winning teams have been invited to attend the “GeoIndia 2024 Conference” to be held at the India Expo Mart Convention Centre (IEML), Greater Noida from November 15-17, 2024.

Prof. Rashid Umar, Chairman of the department, congratulated the students and said their success reflects not only their individual brilliance but also the rigorous academic environment fostered by the department and the university.
