AMU Students Visit Amrit Udyan, Rashtrapati Bhavan

 

Aligarh : First-year students of the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Studies and Research, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), embarked on a one-day educational visit to Amrit Udyan, Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi recently. The group was accompanied by Assistant Professors Dr. Asif Akhtar and Dr. Lamay Bin Sabir.

The visit commenced with a tour of Bal Vatika, a charming children’s garden .This was followed by an exploration of the Bonsai Garden, exemplifying the art of bonsai.

A notable stop on the tour was the Musical Fountain, after which the students proceeded to the Central Lawn, gaining a panoramic view of the expansive layout of Rashtrapati Bhavan’s gardens. They also explored the Long Garden, lined with vibrant roses and flowering plants, and the Circular Garden, known for its symmetrical design and colourful flower beds.

The visit concluded at the Food Court, where the students experienced the inspiring Mitti Café, operated by individuals with physical disabilities, adding a socially conscious dimension to the outing.

This visit provided the students with an enriching educational experience, blending horticulture with social inclusivity. The Chairperson of the Department of Business Administration expressed gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor and the MIC, CAW, for their support in making this visit possible.
