AMU teacher conducts a hands-on training at Awadh Dental College

ALIGARH : Dr Pankaj Kharade, Department of Prosthodontics, Dr ZA Dental College, Aligarh Muslim University conducted a hands-on training regarding Prosthetic Rehabilitation of complex mandibular and ocular defects at a workshop organized by the Awadh Dental College and Hospital, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. More than 100 delegates from Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal attended the scientific session.

Dr Kharade said that rehabilitation of these defects after oral cancer surgery is essential to overcome disfigurement of face and affected functions. Rehabilitation at proper stage helps to enhance the quality of life of such patients, he added.

Dr. Kharade deliberated upon the impact in various clinical as well as laboratory techniques for prosthetic rehabilitation to improve the treatment outcome for oncology patients.
