AMU team wins All India Debate Competition

Aligarh : A two-member debating team from the Debating and Literary Club, Aligarh Muslim University, consisting of Aiman Khan, M. A. English Literature and Sayed Aqsa, B. A. Political Science, emerged victorious in the All India Shri Nandlal Gadiya Memorial Debate (English) 2024, organized by Mewar University, Chittorgarh in collaboration with Ekatma Manavdarshan Anusandhan, New Delhi from February 29th to March 1st, 2024.

The topic of the debate was ‘Caste Census in India is in National Interest.’

Apart from winning the first prize, Sayed Aqsa received the best speaker award in the competition.

The President of the University Debating and Literary Club, Dr. Sadaf Fareed and Co-ordinator CEC, Prof. F. S. Sherani congratulated the winners for their commendable achievement.
