AMU team wins big in Formula Bharat 2022

 

Aligarh : A student-led Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) team of the SAE- Z H College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET), a student chapter associated with SAE-INDIA got the first rank for Business Plan Presentation, an overall fifth rank, fifth place in Design Presentation and third positions in the categories of Overall Statics and Cost and Manufacturing for their formula style racing car in the Formula Bharat 2022, International Formula Student Competition held at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

“The 29-member student team had designed and built the fifth generation combustion race car, ZFR 5.0 equipped with features such as an upgraded 390cc engine power unit, enhanced adjustability in vehicle response and sensors for realistic and real time data acquisition. Their creation is an ergonomically engineered, performance packed high speed race car”, said Nafees Ahmad (Faculty Advisor).

Extending gratitude to faculty advisors, Nafees Ahmad and Dr Syed Fahad Anwer for the necessary guidance; the student team members said that it is so far their best performance in such a competition and it is hoped that the success streak will continue in other competitions.

The SAE- ZHCET team comprises Mohammad Aatif Qazi (Captain), Hammad Qamar (Vice Captain), S Meesum Raza Zaidi (Team Manager), Yogesh Kumar (Technical Head), Arsalan Sartaj (Business Lead), Rehan Abad Siddiqui, Asjad Ali Khan, Md Kashif Raza, Tushar Gupta, Abu Bakr, Zulkifle Anwar, Abdul Muiz Khan, Md Moin Khan, Syed Mohammad Barik, Md MobassirAlam, Mohd Nabeel Khan, Disha Singh, Mohammad Hamza, Abdul Samad, Arsheen Amir Khan, Abid Hasan Zim, Salman Ahmad, Syed Imaduddin, Sana, Ritik Prabhat, Yusuf Ahmed Khan, Sayeed ur Rahman, Monti Sharma and Abdul Suboor.
