AMU urges job seekers to make online payments

Aligarh: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has urged aspirants for various teaching and non-teaching jobs to deposit the employment fee through online mode via net-banking or QR code. The step has been taken in line with Government of India Guidelines on social distancing to curb the spread of Covid 19.

“As the spike in Coronavirus cases continue all over the country, gatherings in banks to deposit cash for employment forms come with the risk of getting infected, which is why candidates applying for university jobs are requested to deposit the employment fees through online modes,” said Prof S M Jawed Akhtar (Finance Officer).

He added that the applicants need to mention compulsorily details on the first page of the application form in the column ‘Particulars of Payment of Application Fee’ and enclose the printout of the transaction details and the duly filled proforma along with the application form. Separate transactions should be made for each and every post.
