AMU VC releases ‘Raftaar’

ALIGARH : The 2020-21 issue of “Raftaar”, an annual journal of the Department of Urdu, Aligarh Muslim University was released by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor in his office.

Appreciating the efforts of the faculty members and students of the Department of Urdu in bringing out the journal, Professor Mansoor urged to give maximum space to the students’ achievements and successes.

Professor Mohammad Ali Jauhar (Chairman of the department) pointed out that the publication of the annual journal was a challenge in Covid period, however the department has stupendously maintained its publication because of the continued support and help from the Vice Chancellor.

Senior faculty members including Professor Syed Mohammad Hashim, Professor Shahabuddin Saqib, Prof Qamrul Huda Faridi, Professor Siraj Ajmali and Dr Rashid Anwar Rashid were present on this occasion.
