AMU Vice Chancellor inaugurates Dental Clinic at MAS
Aligarh : Prof Naima Khatoon, Vice Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) inaugurated a dental clinic in the premises of the Medical Attendance Scheme (MAS) of the University.
Prof Khatoon congratulated the Director and his team for starting the dental clinic at the MAS, which provides medical services to the university staff and their family members.
Prof. Hammad Usmani, Director, MAS said that this clinic has been started with the help of the Department of Periodontia and Community Dentistry of Dr. Z.A. Dental College.
Preventive dentistry services such as regular dental check-ups and cleanings, oral health issues, fluoride treatments, dental education and counseling, and oral cancer screenings etc. will be available at this clinic, which will help in identification and addressing dental problems early on.
Dr. Hammad further said that around 75,000 beneficiaries are covered in the MAS service including dependents of the teaching and non teaching staff and pensioners.
He said the patient will be examined at MAS Dental Clinic on Wednesdays and Thursday, while during the summer vacation, it will run on Thursdays only.
Dr. Neha Agrawal, Dr. Pramod Kumar Yadav, Dr. Syed Amaan Ali, along with the interns of the Department of Department of Periodontia and Community Dentistry will be available at the dental clinic.

Tiwari, and Prof Zaki Anwar Siddiqui, MIC, Land and Gardens were present on the occasion.
