AMU Women’s Badminton Team Calls upon the Vice Chancellor
Leaves for Lucknow to take part in Khelo India University Games
Aligarh : Aligarh Muslim University’s Badminton team (women) is taking part in the 3rd edition of Khelo India University Games, which is the first university team participating in these Games.
Before proceeding to Lucknow (UP), the venue for Badminton events in the 3rd Khelo India University Games, the members of the team Sneha Rajwer, Sabnam Parveen, Shreya Sharma and Shobha called upon the Vice Chancellor Prof Mohammad Gulrez, who motivated them to give their best.
“AMU Women’s Badminton team secured third place in the North Zone Intervarsity Badminton Tournament and also qualified for the All India Intervarsity as well as Khelo India University Games”, said Dr. Jameel Ahmad, President, Gymkhana Club, AMU.
The four member team also met the Principal, Women’s College, Professor Naima Gulrez.
