AMU’s Hadi Hasan Hall hosts G20 University Connect Program

 

Aligarh : Aligarh Muslim University’s Hadi Hasan Hall organized an event centered around the G20 theme. The highlight of the evening was the enlightening talk by Prof. Asmer Beg, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences. He explored the topic of “G-20 and the Changing Global Power Dynamics,” leaving a lasting impact and fostering global collaboration spirit during the G20 University Connect program celebration.

 

Prof. Beg emphasized India’s crucial role as it undertakes the G-20 presidency amidst significant shifts in global affairs. This occasion provides a promising opportunity to strengthen cooperation among nations and promote alternative international institutions for global governance. His insights deeply resonated with the eager audience.

 

Adding to the programme Prof. Parvez Talib from the Department of Business Administration enriched the gathering with his expertise, concluding the evening on a thought-provoking note.

 

The event commenced with a welcoming address by Prof. Ghulam Sarwar Hashmi, Provost, who elaborated on the event’s theme. Guiding the event’s proceedings were Mr. Altamash Ahmad and Mr. Mohd Imran, while a patriotic melody was performed by Mr. Danish Khan. The wardens, including Dr. Shahbaz Habib Faridi, Dr. Nafees Ahmad Khan, Mr. Arshad Mahmood, Dr. Urfi, Dr. Mohd Kaleem Ansari, and Dr. Mohd Amir, graced the occasion, alongside a throng of enthusiastic students.
