Book-lovers can now purchase books of their choice across genres from Publications Division’s storefront at amazon.in and get them delivered at their doorstep across India.
Commenting upon this initiative, AMU Vice-Chancellor Prof Tariq Mansoor said: “during the covid-19 pandemic online teaching and learning became new normal. Likewise there has been a surge in customers opting for online purchase and make payments in digital form. Publications Division has done a remarkable job by listing the books on Amazon, which was long overdue. I hope our books will soon be listed at Amazon for global buyers also”.
Prof Ali Mohammad Naqvi, (Director, Publications Division/ Sir Syed Academy, AMU) said: “we are really excited about this as it will not just bring more visibility to our books but also help the book-lovers from across India in choosing the online option of purchasing our books in a more convenient way”.
Dr Mohammad Shahid (Deputy Director, Publications Division/ Sir Syed Academy) said: “in the first phase we have made available our 40 titles on amazon.in and very soon all the books published by Publications Division and Sir Syed Academy would be made available online.
Dr Shahid also commended Mr Sabahuddin at Amazon India who coordinated with the team at Publications Division, AMU for listing the books at Amazon.
