An informative session held on higher education opportunities in France

ALIGARH : The Training and Placement Office (General), Aligarh Muslim University organized an informative session on higher education opportunities in France Ms. Ayushi Nagpal, Manager at Campus France, Embassy of France, New Delhi as the resource person.

Ms Nagpal highlighted the advantages of studying in France, including subsidized tuition fees, affordable living expenses with rent support, and opportunities for part-time work. She emphasized that while many academic programmes are conducted in English, learning basic French is helpful for social interactions.

Referring to France as the “land of innovation and research,” Ms Nagpal discussed the key steps before applying for admission at a French institution, post-study employment opportunities, available scholarships, and PhD and post-doctoral research prospects.

She urged the students to attend the upcoming “Choose France Tour 2024” to further explore study opportunities in France.

Dr. Suhalia Parveen, Assistant TPO (General) and Assistant Professor at the Department of Commerce, spoke about the objective of the event and future collaboration between the TPO and Campus France.

Assistant TPOs Dr. Pallav Vishnu and Dr. Muzammil Mushtaq played a key role in organizing the event.

The session concluded with a Q&A session.

The event was hosted by Ramsha Fatima, a student of BBA, while Sadya Ali, a student of BA (English Literature) welcomed the guest speaker. Nafia, another student of BA (English Literature) extended a vote of thanks.
