Anant National University hosts the Grand Finale of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Hackathon 2022

Ahmedabad : Nearly 45 student teams comprising 250 students from across the state are currently at the Anant National University campus for the 36-hour Grand Finale of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Hackathon 2022. The finale has been organised at 10 centres across the state on 10th and 11th February 2023. A total of 461 teams comprising 2473 students were shortlisted for the Grand Finale from over 17,000 students who had registered for the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Hackathon 2022. The hackathon has been organised by the State Education Department and Student Startup & Innovation Policy (SSIP) of the Government of Gujarat. AnantU is the only design university to be a host for both the Regional and the Final Rounds. The students had to pick from one of the 775 problem statements and have to develop a tech-enabled solution in 36 hours. After the Grand Finale, 75 winning teams will be awarded a prize money of Rs. 24.5 lacs. The winning teams will be eligible for the Proof of Concept (PoC) and IP filing support under SSIP 2.0.
