Anantnag Colleges, Schools, AWCs, Block Offices, Health Centres remain abuzz with ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ preparations

ANANTNAG : Multifarious activities are in full swing across the district, conducted by different departments to prepare for the upcoming Independence Day celebrations in the district.

Painting Competitions and National Anthem singing and essay competitions, quiz programmes, debates and seminars are being held in various Govt. Degree Colleges and Polytechnic Colleges of the district. These activities are part of Har Ghar Tiranga under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahatsov.

GDC Anantnag, Qazigund, Larno, Kokernag, Bijbehara, Doru and Govt. Polytechnic College, Anantnag has taken headway in organizing these activities so as to prepare for the Independence Day celebrations.

Principals of these Colleges said the students are proactively participating in the events and are excited to participate in upcoming Independence Day celebrations.

Similarly, Mission Poshan, Anantnag is engaging in Har Ghar Tiranga celebrations and its AWCs across the district remain decorated with colorful Banners and paintings of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Not far behind, students of schools of all education zones are also taking part in quiz, essay, painting and debate competitions on varied topics of National Symbols, National Monuments, Freedom Struggle and other related topics.

The Department of Rural Development, FCS&CA, MC Anantnag and Health are also organising awareness programmes on the issue, highlighting the importance of the celebrations. Nukkad Nataks are also being orgainsed by the Rural Development Department to engage local populace and PRIs in the Independence Day celebrations.
