Annual Hall Function at Aftab Hall

Aligarh : Aligarh Muslim University’s Aftab hall celebrated the annual Hall function with great fervour. The programme was conducted by Mr. Yasir, a Ph.D. student and resident of the Hall.

In his introductory remarks, the Provost, Dr. Salman Khalil welcomed the guests and students, and added that the event was a momentous occasion to rejoice. He thanked the student fraternity for their support in making the function a success.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Junaid Raza Khan, former Chairman, Punjab Waqf Board and an alumnus of AMU, shared his memorable days in AMU as a student. He also thanked the Hall Administration for giving him an opportunity to be part of the event.

Guest of Honour, Prof. Asfar Ali Khan, Director of School Education, AMU exhorted the students to actively participate in sports’ events of the university and reduce their screen time, for a successful career in life.

Prof. Mohd Mohsin Khan, Finance Officer, AMU urged the students to remain active both in sports and curricular activities. He also emphasized the importance of personality development in students.

Mr. Ashraf Hafeez, Senior Hall, Aftab Hall presented the detailed annual Hall report highlighting the achievement of the students in academics and sports.

Mr. Kamal Ashraf, Senior Food of the Hall expressed gratitude to the guests and students for their presence at the function.
