Annual Job Fair “Sairaab 2.0” organised at AMU
Aligarh : The Training and Placement Office (General), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), organized its annual recruitment fair Sairaab 2.0, providing the graduates and final-year UG and PG students of the University across various disciplines a platform for placement opportunities. Serving as a vital industry-university interface, it allowed the students to engage with the top recruiters and gain valuable insights with regard to the career opportunities.
The event was sponsored by IMCS Group, with Wagon Cafe as the associate partner.
15 companies, including Mindtel Global, RNF Technologies, TAB Group, IB Global Academy, ATX Learning, Pavna Group, IsonXperience, Blooming Buds, Institute of European Language and Consultancy, Talent Recruit Online, and Concentrix, among others, participated in the event to recruit top talent from the university.
Professor Mohammad Gulrez, the chief guest of the event, appreciated the students for their hard work and determination, highlighting that many are first-generation learners eager to prove themselves. He emphasized the significance of the Sairaab 2.0, symbolizing the search for opportunities. He also noted that AMU is catering to the needs of the students by offering new courses and adding new dimensions to the existing curriculum to match the current job market expectations.
Earlier, Mr. Saad Hameed, the Training and Placement Officer (TPO) and Convener of the event, delivered the welcome address. He discussed his vision for strengthening long-term partnerships with participating companies.
Mr. Syed Zakiullah, Associate Director, IMCS Group, emphasized the importance of diversity and inclusion, stating that IMCS values the unique strengths each recruiter brings and is open to collaboration.
Dr. Muzamil Mushtaq, co-convener of the event conducted the felicitations of the guests and HR representatives of the companies participating in the job fair.
Dr. Pallav Vishnu, Organizing Secretary commended the efforts of the volunteers, for their crucial role in the success of the event.
