Annual Majlis held at Sir Shah Sulaiman Hall

ALIGARH : To commemorate the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain, Sir Shah Sulaiman Hall, Aligarh Muslim University organized the Annual Majlis as part of the cultural and religious traditions of the university. Senior Prayer Monitor (Shia), Mr. Safi Abbas supervised the Annual Majlis under the patronization of the Provost, Prof Shamshad Hussain.

Maulana Wasi Hasan Khan, Wasiqa Arabic College, Faizabad, while addressing the gathering, shed light on the life and teachings of Hazrat Imam Hussain, adding that Hazrat Imam Hussain’s martyrdom upholds the importance of courage and bravery for justice and urges people not to tolerate cruelty and injustice.

Mir Rashid recited a heart touching eulogy.

The assembly was attended by a large number of students.
