Anuradha Gupta assumes charge as DC Samba

Samba: Anuradha Gupta today assumed charge as Deputy Commissioner, Samba.

Soon after assuming the charge, the DC took an introductory meeting of district officers and sub-ordinate staff in her office chamber.

While addressing the meeting, the DC urged upon the officers and field functionaries to work with added dedication and honesty to further improve the present developmental scenario of the district.

The DC took round of the district offices in the administration block of the DC office complex. She sought cooperation from all district officers to take the development profile of the district to zenith. She said ‘our thrust should be monitoring developmental works and welfare programmes at grassroots level’. She stressed on giving first priority to the resolution of the public issues.

Earlier, Additional Deputy Commissioner, while welcoming the DC, assured all possible support for smooth functioning of the district administration.

Additional District Development Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Chief Planning Officer and other district officers besides sub-ordinate staff were present on the occasion.
