Anurag Sharma, MP elected as International treasurer of Commonwealth Parliamentary Asso ciation
New Delhi : Mr Anurag Sharma, Member of Parliament (MP) from Jhansi has been elected as International treasurer of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) at its 65th Commonwealth Parliamentary conference being held at Halifax in Canada.
The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) the world’s largest and oldest international parliamentary association Voted Shri Anurag Sharma MP (Lok Sabha) Jhansi with a very thumping majority as it’s Treasurer making him it’s International Treasure, He will now be in the Main Executive Council and with hence with his elevation this will help India by getting increasing one more seat for India in the CPA taking the total Indian tally to 4 Executive representatives now.
The 65th Commonwealth Parliamentary conference held from Augsut 20-26, 2022 at Halifax in Canada brought together over 500 Parliamentarians, parliamentary staff and decision makers from across the Commonwealth for this unique conference and networking opportunity.
