Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication announces the 3rd edition of ‘Media Chaupal’

 

New Delhi: Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC) is pleased to announce the 3rd edition of its flagship event ‘Media Chaupal’ that will be held on 31st January, 2020 at Apeejay Dwarka Campus. The event is being held in association with Public Relations Society of India, Delhi Chapter as the Academic Partner. Media Chaupal will feature discussions with some of the most experienced media professionals from across India including:

Media Chaupal aims at providing college students an open forum to discuss and gain insight into various media fields like Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, Event Management and Social Media. Faculties and students from various colleges across Delhi NCR will witness open discussions on the evolution of the communications industry in the digital era. Media stalwarts and experts will hold discussions on how the Indian Media & Entertainment Industries – specifically Journalism and Integrated Marketing Communication are undergoing a phenomenal change in the age of digital freedom along with opportunities and challenges that it brings for all the stakeholders. The attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a dialogue with the speakers.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Sajal Mukherjee, Director, AIMC said, “The aim of ‘Media Chaupal’ is to introduce the faculty and students to various challenges facing the media and entertainment industry and also provide a platform for students to showcase their talent in areas of their interest.’’

Various media related competitions like RJ Hunt, Scavenger Hunt, 2 Minutes to Fame, Media Quiz are being held and exciting prizes along with certificates will be awarded to the winners. College students from all round Delhi-NCR and IP affiliated colleges are expected to attend the event and make it a success.
