Apeejay Stya University announces Admissions for Bachelor in Design and MA in Design

The School of Design & Visual Arts (SDVA) at Apeejay Stya University (ASU) is inviting applications for its Bachelor and MA in Design programmes, with durations of 4 and 2 years respectively. For both the programmes, specializations are available in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Graphic Design and Animation & Multimedia.
Career Opportunities: After successful completion of the programme, students can work as Fashion Designers, Visual Merchandisers, Textile Designers, Apparel Designers, Fashion Stylists, Fashion Show Organizers / Fashion Publishers, Graphic Designers, Art Directors, Film Makers, Website Designers, Academicians, Illustrators, Game Designers / Animators, and Merchandising-Designers etc. Some may opt for entrepreneurship opportunities. At SDVA, students take part in studio based learning and continuous industry interface. They also get training in soft skills and benefit from ASU’s liberal arts approach to become industry-ready. Each specific area of design studio at this design school is attached to a specific workshop. SDVA is equipped with Fashion Studio, Digital Media Lab, Animation Studio, Interior Design Studio, Material Labs & Workshops, Photography Studio / Videography Lab, CAD Lab etc.
Eligibility: I) For Bachelor of Design programme, educational qualifications require the candidate to be have passed 10+2/ equivalent with minimum 50% in aggregate from any recognised board. A qualification from any foreign board needs an equivalency certificate. Students appearing / to appear in 10+2 examination are eligible to apply.
II) For MA in Design, educational qualification is 10+2+3 from any stream with minimum 50% in aggregate from any recognised board/university.
ASU offers several scholarships and financial aid programmes on merit-cum-means basis to students. It provides transport facility from key pick-up points. ASU provides affordable residential accommodation integrated within the campus. It has also tied-up with agencies which provide well-furnished PG accommodations in and around Gurgaon and Sohna.
