Apeejay Svran Global School honoured at 11th Education Summit in Chandigarh

Faridabad : Adding yet another accolade, Apeejay Svran Global School (ASGS), Faridabad, was recently honoured at the 11th Education Summit for ‘Outstanding Experiential Learning Implementation in School’ by Time2Grow Media, a think-tank that works for the betterment of the educational landscape of the country.

The theme of this year’s summit was ‘Pedagogical innovations in Education’. With an aim to “identify, promote and support” innovative models of teaching in pre-schools, schools, and edu-corporates. Experts from education sectors were brought together to discuss the need for keeping the pedagogy relevant and move beyond the traditional methods of teaching-learning. The prime focus is the need for innovation in the education sector and how innovations can be achieved to disseminate learning effectively.

Notably, experiential learning is an innovative method that focuses on disseminating learning in the form of experience or ‘learning by doing’. This approach enables the students to get an exposure to hands-on-learning and reflect on the experience. The students in turn are able to connect the knowledge and theories learnt in the classroom.
The Apeejay Svran Global School, since its inception, has been working upon various innovative methodologies for enhanced learning outcomes. Experiential learning is one such approach adopted by the school besides thematic and evidence-based pedagogy. The school endeavours to stimulate a child’s brain with the help of exciting learning activities. To enhance their creativity and thinking skills, it organises numerous scholastic and non-scholastic activities that are organised regularly.

ASGS has been ranked among the top Schools in Faridabad by India’s leading educational ratings and has received many awards for its progressive curriculum at leading forums in the country. Earlier last year, the School was listed among the top schools in Faridabad in the “Leader Category” by Times Schools Survey.
