APFF to screen film by AMU alumnus

Aligarh: Things may not be smooth at the political front between India and Pakistan but when it comes to films, the two countries accept the creativity of each other. This time it is the Asia Peace Film Festival (APFF)-Pakistan, which will screen ‘Khat’, a short film by Ketan Dixit, an alumnus of the Department of Mass Communication, Aligarh Muslim University.

The Film will be screened during the APFF Third Lahore edition, scheduled to take place from November 20 to 22.

Ketan has received the confirmation of his film’s screening through an email from Amir Masoud Soheili, Creative Director, APFF.

‘Khat’, an adaptation of Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi’s short story, ‘Baba Noor’, depicts agony of families who lose loved ones in mob violence.
