Apni Zameen Apni Nigrani: DC Reasi flags off Vehicles with IEC Material on Land Records Information System

REASI : Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Charandeep Singh today flagged off vehicles with Information Education and Communication(IEC) material for spreading awareness about ‘Apni Zameen Apni Nigrani’ initiative of Jammu and Kashmir Government which facilitates online access to land revenue record digitized under the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP).

ACR Sanjay Badyal, ARTO Rajesh Gupta and other district officers were also present at the flagging off ceremony.

On the occasion, the DC along with ACR, ARTO and all district officers displayed pamphlets and banners on “Apni Zameen Apni Nigrani.” The DC said that Public users can search and view scanned record online on CIS Portal:-http://landrecords.jk.gov.in/.

Charandeep Singh emphasized that the initiative will facilitate easy online access to the Land Records System, thereby reducing manipulation of the Land records and improving the efficiency of Revenue offices substantially.

The DC reiterated that the major components of DILRMP include computerization and digitization of land records, Survey/resurvey and updation of all the survey and settlement records, integration of property registration with land records, bringing utmost transparency in the system, Capacity building and development of Land Records Information System.
