Appointment rights entrusted to collectors to deal Covid-19 pandemic

Bhopal : Temporary appointment of “Appointment Health Officer in Emergency” will be made to deal with Covid-19 pandemic in the state. The Chief Medical and Health Officer can exercise the right of appointment with the approval of the Collector through the District Health Committee.

Staff nurses / paramedical staff / doctors etc. can be temporarily employed for three months as per requirement on the vacant posts sanctioned under the National Health Mission at the district level. Health workers who are freed from the ban on OPD registration etc. in government and private hospitals will also be temporarily employed.

If voluntary subject experts, doctors wish to serve as members of the Covid-19 Combat Response Team, for the control of Covid-19 at the district level, they may be temporarily employed as per requirement. Final year girl students of B.Sc Nursing and GNM training centers can be temporarily posted to the vacant posts of Staff Nurse in the district by the Chief Medical and Health Officer. ANMs who are not employed in any government organization, who have undergone training in government training centres of the district, can be posted by the Chief Medical and Health Officer for three months at the minimum prescribed honorarium.
